We were surprised to see that most of the Haven's suites, save for the most high-end categories, have comparatively small balconies. The veranda on an aft-facing cabin on the Norwegian Breakaway is larger and has enough room for chaise lounge chairs. The Norwegian Breakaway mini-suite showers are spa-like, with a waterfall showerhead, multiple water-jets, and a separate hand-held showerhead. These cabins do not have a balcony but feature a view similar to the one the Captain has from the bridge.

However, the price for the Haven (an older ship, and not in the greatest shape) is higher than the Breakaway and Breakaway + ships. Love watching the kids waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. Many multi-generational families dress on Christmas morning in matching pajamas waiting for Santa. Surprisingly the difference of a non TG cruise for me was about $400, being the airfare was a bit more because of the holiday. Either ship will be fully booked for a cruise over Thanksgiving and more expensive than a week or two in front of or behind Thanksgiving. Norwegian Escape, on the other hand, has the same layout as Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway.
